US regional banking: stronger than ever -White House

A White House official has stated that the US regional banking sector is now much more resilient than it was a year ago. The official, Lael Brainard, the director of the White House National Economic Council, made the remarks during a press conference. Brainard also noted that the White House has been closely monitoring the health of the regional banking sector. The statement comes as the banking industry as a whole has faced significant challenges over the past year, including regulatory changes and economic uncertainty.
